Bio:

Granddaughter of Charlie Chow, SuAn Chow was once known to don a lei and grass skirt to dance for patrons at her father Robert Chow’s beloved Salt Lake restaurant, The Polynesian. Fast forward to the 1980s, she was successfully breaking culinary ground with her own restaurant–putting a decidedly contemporary spin on Chinese cuisine. Known as Charlie Chow in the Triad Center moved to Trolley Square, it was a local legend. She eventually sold that restaurant and moved to New York City where she spent 8 years in the high fashion industry. In 2009 she returned to Salt Lake, hung up her stilettos, and began pursuing a delicious new kind of adventure. This one required flat heels and some major driving mojo as she became a new kind of Utah pioneer, launching the screaming yellow Chow Truck – Haute Asian Cuisine on the Go in 2010. Just call her Boss Lady.
